Special Collections and Archives regularly receives individual manuscripts and small groupings of materials that have historical significance, but are not substantial enough to necessitate a full finding aid. For administrative and storage purposes, these materials have been grouped into an artificial collection, the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection.
This collection consists of materials covering a wide range of topics and format. The contents reflect the breadth of the holdings in Special Collections and Archives, with a particular emphasis on Texas history. Materials may be added to the collection on an ongoing basis. Subject headings have been assigned at the item level.
