National Society of Arts and Letters (U.S.)The Paul Baker Papers consist of correspondence, photographs, administrative records, scripts, playbills, blueprints for theatre construction, periodical clippings and scrapbooks spanning the years 1925-1976 with the bulk of the material concerning the mid-century. The material from the latter years relates to Baker’s tenure at Trinity University, but the majority of the collection is from his years with Baylor University and his work with the Dallas Theatre Center. The collection also contains a small series of Kitty Baker’s correspondence and personal papers.
Baker, Paul, 1911-2009Two typewritten transcripts of the personal narrative of Peter D. Lane, a Confederate soldier from Missouri in the Civil War. The manuscript is entitled "Recollections of a Volunteer, or Footsteps of a Soldier."

Alumni Relations and DevelopmentThe Public Relations PR Files were donated to the Trinity University Archives in the 1980s and include press releases on subject files and last names from the 1960s through the early 1980s. The collection focuses largely on the student and faculty experience, with many press releases on academic programs and centers, research, grants, and organizations. There is also a heavy focus on campus events, especially theater and musical performances, and on athletics. The collection touches on Trinity's engagement with the San Antonio community as well, with press releases on Fiesta and outside groups meeting at Trinity. Many of the press releases also highlight the administrative side of Trinity, as well as its growth, with topics such as the history of Trinity, major administrators at Trinity, and the construction of new buildings.

Trinity University Special Collections and ArchivesCollection of sermons written and delivered by Presbyterian minister Chester L. Tolson between 1961 and 1963. These sermons were delivered at the Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Topics discussed include, but are not limited to: Christmas, communism, Easter, education, peace, space exploration, stewardship, Thanksgiving, and world relations.
Tolson, Chester L., 1923-2015The Rev. William M. Kelly, M.D., Papers consist primarily of typed copies of correspondence between Dr. Samuel Lee Hornbeak, President of Trinity University, and William Kelly, a Trinity alumnus and medical missionary in China. The correspondence is concerned with discussions of Chinese artifacts, accounts of Chinese history and customs, and descriptions of Dr. Kelly's journeys in China. There is some correspondence between Kelly and other Trinity affiliates, as well as between Hornbeak and other Chinese missionaries. The collection also contains later correspondence and inventories regarding the Chinese artifacts given to Trinity by Rev. Kelly, and genealogical research conducted by Kelly's grandson, Brooks Kelly.
Kelly, William M., 1874-1957This collection consists of materials collected by Col. Stacy Clapp by and about popular author Richard Armour. The two men were acquaintances from growing up in Pomona, California; Clapp became a fan of Armour's writing, and the two began a correspondence in 1959 that continued through the 1980s. Materials included in this collection include correspondence between Armour and Clapp; correspondence of Clapp's with other individuals regarding Armour's work; clippings of Armour's work collected by Clapp; and ephemera related to Armour's work collected by Clapp.

Hunter, Robert Ellis, 1915-1968Acquired by Trinity University in 1982, the Ronald Hilton Collection was one of the largest private libraries on Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition to over 10,000 books (accessible via the library's catalog), the collection includes autographed letters from prominent Latin Americans, photographs of Cuba during the Spanish-American War, letters written to Hilton's shortwave radio program from listeners across the Western Hemisphere, and audiotapes of interviews with over 270 prominent figures in Latin American politics, academics, and culture.

San Antonio Symphony OrchestraTwo volumes of property assessments conducted in the city of San Antonio, Texas. The first is dated from 1853 by assessor José María Rodriguez. The second is dated from 1864 by assessor A. Eule. The assessments list and provides values for property owned by San Antonio citizens, including parcels of land, livestock, wagons and farm equipment, jewelry, and miscellaneous items. Enslaved people are also listed under property assessed; the names, sex, and ages of enslaved people are not listed.
