This collection consists of material related to the investigation of Dr. Sherman M. Stanage conducted in the spring semester of 1968. Dr. Stanage was a professor of philosophy at Trinity University and was involved in both campus and city activities. When informed that his contract would not be renewed, he requested that the university investigate, claiming that his academic freedom was being violated. An investigation committee was formed consisting of Trinity professors Dr. Jess Carnes, Dr. Guy Ranson, and Dr. Donald Everett, and it is the documentation of this committee that composes this collection. Material is predominantly from the 1967-1968 academic year, however, some of the documents predate this time frame. Much of this documentation was used as evidence for the investigation. Material is correspondence and memoranda, news clippings, recollection of events, and reports of the investigation committee.

The "Hardman Pamphlets" span the years 1880-1980, with the bulk of the material falling into the period 1920 to 1960. The pamphlets cover a broad spectrum of subjects, the greatest emphasis being on twentieth-century British, labor-oriented literature, ranging from political theories, primarily socialism, to practical worker education movements. This collection consists of documentation from Trinity University's student government in its various iterations. The Student Association was formed in the fall of the 1964-1965 school year. Prior to that it was the Association of Students and other forms of student council and student senate. The Student Association changed its name to the Association of Student Representatives (ASR) in 1993-1994 school year as it merged with the Association of Resident Hall Students (ARHS). In 2006 the association again changed its named to the Student Government Association (SGA). Material prior to the 1964-1965 school year is included in this collection. This collection contains assortments of meeting minutes and general files which includes correspondence, operations and activities, and governing documents such as constitutions. It also maintains legislative files from the senate and council and judicial files from the judicial board and student court. Memorabilia and ephemera such as photos and flyers are included as well. Material for ARHS, ASR, and SGA is included in this collection.

This collection consists the printed run of the Expositor magazine, published by the English Department. The Expositor was first published in 1989 by the English Department at the initiative of Professor Peter Balbert. Through 2015 it provided a space for academic writing and prose. Beginning in 2016 the members of the English Department responsible for the publication consulted with the Mellon Initiative for Undergraduate Research in the Humanities and made the decision to change the scope of the journal to focus on humanities disciplines.

The T.M. (Thomas Moore) Paschal Papers consist of letters, legal documents, bills, advertisements, telegrams, programs, and newspaper clippings. The material spans from 1851-1921. The material in this collection covers a wide range of subjects including Paschal's public career and law practice; land deals in the United States and Mexico; San Antonio civic affairs; and inventions including the Judge's invention of an electro-chemico radio active heater.

Collection of dismembered nineteenth century travel photograph albums. Photograph albums like these were popular souvenirs for travelers, and depicted local costume, monuments, landscapes, and town scenes.

This collection consists of leaves removed from multiple albums, including works by photographers Antonio Beato, Félix Bonfils, Francis Frith, Knud Knudsen, Axel Lindahl, Jean Pascal Sébah, Pascal Sébah, Rudolph Tamme, Olaf Martin Peder Væring, James Valentine, G.W. Wilson, and Adelphoi Zangaki, and including works published by Richard Andvord, William Mervin Lawrence, and Schröder & Co. The majority of the photographs are albumen prints; the collection also includes some collodion process prints. Locations depicted in the photographs are primarily in Europe and the Middle East, and include Egypt, England, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Lebanon, Norway, and Sweden. The collection includes a total of 213 photographs.
