Rev. D.M.S. Bodenhamer was professor at Trinity in Tehuacana and Waxahachie. His papers consists of a journal detailing his time at Cumberland University and his beginnings at Trinity University, as well as letters from students at the time of his retirement. The journal is over 200 pages of hand-written entries including daily activities, poetry, prayers, etc. The first almost 90 pages deal with his journey from his home to college in 1866, his classes, activities, classmates and professors at Cumberland University. His years at Trinity are discussed and there are many transcribed letters to him about his time and influence while a professor there. The last date in his entries is 1926. Included is typed transcription of journal entries, transcribed by Suzanne Cockreham.
